Beginning Ballet Workshops
These hour long classes are for a first introduction to ballet. Not only do students learn the basic structure of a ballet class and beginning ballet technique, but each workshop session ends with a 15 minute performance complete with music from the real ballet and sets of the class's creation.
These classes are fun, creative, and are meant to begin a life-long love of ballet for dancers AND future audience members. Workshops often coincide with local and professional ballet performances so students get to experience ballet themselves, and then go see it on stage if they wish!
Parents love these workshops because they represent a simple 4 week commitment for an uncertain new dancer. Cost is $40/workshop ($35 Cash) and includes crafts which the dancer gets to keep and costume rental fees. All workshops are held in my home. For more information, comment below.

Workshop Days and Times:
(more classes may be added)Swan Lake Workshop - (PAST)
Another classic with famous music by Peter Tchaikovsky, Swan Lake embodies all that is beautiful about ballet. Our class will love dancing at a royal ball where the prince searches for love and is tricked into thinking he's found her.
Giselle Workshop - Past (I may repeat this workshop in the fall of 2016)
The ballet Giselle tells the story of a heroic young woman who saves the life of the prince who betrayed her. Our class will get to be ballerina peasants and ghosts and let our imaginations run as wild as our dancing feet!
Nutcracker Workshop - Past (Generally this repeats yearly, with 2015 being a possible exception)
You probably know Nutcracker as a holiday classic. You may not have known it was a Utah native, Willam Christensen, who made it so! Dancers learn this, and all sorts of other fun ballet facts and moves as they dance at a party, in a swirling snow storm, and in the magical land of the Sugar Plum Fairy.
